Step by Step Guide: How to Install and Configure Smart ZigBee Sterilizer

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the Smart ZigBee UV Sterilizer KVP-GM-TB-UVE27-20-ZB.
Before installing Smart ZigBee UV Sterilizer, you need to install and configure the mobile app and ZigBee Gateway. If you haven't already, read How to Install and Configure Smart ZigBee Gateway.

How to install a ZigBee sterilizer

Installing a ZigBee sterilizer is the same as installing any other device.

Prepare the device by connecting it to the mains.

A few seconds after switching on, the device will start emitting an intermittent beep. If not, you need to restart your device by pressing the rocker switch 5 times.

How to Install and Configure Smart ZigBee Gateway

Go Home and select Gateway

+

Click Add Device

+

If the device emitting an intermittent beep click LED already blink

+

Wait until the device is found

+

Click Done

+

Click on the installed device

+

Select the room where it located and click Done

+

Click on the new installed device

+

Click the pen icon in the upper right corner

+

If you have several of the same devices, you can change their name

+

Click Setting and set Offline Notification

+

You can share the device with another member

+

Make sure the Restart status is OFF for safety reason

+

You can turn on the device by cliking the Power On button.

You can turn off the device by cliking the Power OFF button.

How to set the sterilization time and duration

This is a sample schedule automation. How to set serialization at 1 am for 30 minutes.

Select Smart from the bottom menu

Select Automation

Click +

Select Schedule

Set time and click Repeat

Select days of the week

+

Click Next

+

Select Run the device

+

Select Smart Sterilizer from the list

Selecr POWER1

+

Select ON

+

Click Next and then click + in Task

+

Select Delay

+

Set the Delay - this is the duration period of sterilization

Click + in Task

+

Select Run the device

+

Select Smart Sterilizer from the list

Selecr POWER1

Select OFF

Click Next

Scroll down the screen

Click on Name

+

Change the Name that describes the task

+

Click Save

+

Click Yes

How to remove the Smart Sterilizer

Before moving the Smart Sterilizer to another premise and connecting to another Smart ZigBee Gateway, you need to remove it from the mobile application.
