Läikäys Water Cooperative: Crystal Clear Well Water, All Year Round!
Residents of Saarijärvi (Koskenkyläntie 283, 43240 Lehtola) can now enjoy peace of mind when it comes to their drinking water! The Läikäys Water Cooperative has found a simple and effective solution to the problem of well water contamination during spring and autumn.
Filters don't always eliminate bacteria and viruses, and installing UV purification systems can be complex and expensive.
The solution? Powerful KVP-NX-600 submersible induction UV lamps are installed directly into the well, ensuring complete water disinfection in seconds.
Läikäys Cooperative, in collaboration with Karjalan Valaistuspalvelu, has developed a unique stainless steel frame to hold three lamps. The lamps activate automatically when the pump is running, disinfecting each new batch of water.
Representative of the cooperative Olavi Rämänen shares his experience: "We regularly conduct laboratory tests on the water, and we haven´t found any pathogens. We are very pleased with this simple and effective solution!"
